The Wreck Room, Peterborough NH.

On July 24th 2015, the Ark Angel OutaNationalz ventured for the first time out of the state, and what better location to go than a place that has the state motto of “Live free or die”. Located in Peterborough, New Hampshire, this little town welcomes all visitors with open arms. It’s also known internationally for its in depth engagement and community support for the Performing Arts. The liveliness of the town, the energy of the crowd mixed with the melodic sounds of the OutaNationalz, came together seamlessly to set the night on fire.

The night started with the OutaNationalz playing original songs, and covers by many artist including Bob Marley.  It wasn’t long before Daniel of Heirloom Seeds joined in to add the smooth sounds of his trumpet. A soulful set performed by Dinquinesh She Ra, and a couple songs by Black Royal Goddess, collectively musically filled the rest of the night with an energy too crisp to cut the air.

The Wreck Room, which is a part of the La Mia Casa Restaurant, is a place everybody should experience. From performers to the local customers, everyone was treated like they were at a big family dinner. The hospitality was like no other! The Wreck Room also holds a weekly reggae show every Wednesday night called, “Waxy Wednesdays”. Thomas Judd, a very talented sound engineer and businessman is the great organizer behind a lot of music shows and venue bookings in the reggae music scene in New England, and the organizer behind this show.
